Reinventing Yourself at ANY Age: My Unexpected Come To Jesus Moment
So there I was, staring at my reflection in the mirror with a mix of determination, sadness and sheer panic. I'm a couple of years short of 40 and at this part of my life, I should be comfortable in what I'm doing, happy and satisfied with my success and because I was a teen mom, on my way to enjoying becoming an empty-nester. I'm standing there thinking, in an a couple of years, this is going to be a new decade full of wisdom, stability & FREEDOM. Especially that freedom part, because I had never experienced life at this point without knowing what it was like to make decisions without having to consider, how it would influence, having little people who depended on me. Getting to this point was supposed to be about fun, exciting and about embracing this feeling of newness & stability, right?
